It was a chance visit to this place that subsequently defined my life and the way in which i have chosen to bring up my own family. i first came to harlemville, a small community in north america that adheres to the writings of the philosopher Rudolf Steiner, to visit a friend. the steiner philosophy encourages freedom of expression and an ease in the natural world, which in turn imbues an uninhibited self-confidence and self-awareness rarely seen in the rest of mainstream society.
